The Darque Experience

The night that put WANDAT on a global stage. Koda Outdoor at the Kenya Railway Museum, Nairobi, sharing the decks with South African heavyweight Darque in a back-to-back the crowd is still talking about.

05 About

A community project. Played loud.

WANDAT is a community project. It has been built steadily with the help of many people, from grandparents to parents and friends, into something many have come to love and appreciate.

The sound is afro-house and afro-tech: African storytelling and local instrumentation woven into electronic dance music. Six years on, the sets have grown long and deep, and WANDAT is a regular fixture in Nairobi nightlife: Muze Club, Soho, and rooftop sets at Spasso.
